details

VIRTRIX recreated Aussco’s legacy by digitally preserving its knit factory in DongGuan, China, Using advanced 3D spatial scanning, every detail—from the humming knitting looms to the worn worktables—was meticulously captured and reconstructed in 3D virtual environment, ensuring a photorealistic recreation of its golden era. By conducting staff interviews, we transformed the raw data to live history. This virtual time capsule doesn’t just replicate space; it revives history, blending archival photos and staff memories into an immersive journey.

Through cutting-edge digital twinning, the factory’s evolution comes alive—users can walk through its past, from a humble workshop to a knitwear powerhouse, as if they are stepping back in time. Beyond preservation, it’s a meaningful education to the generation and industry. Through the tour's intuitive interface, users are able to explore a dynamic timeline and transformation of the factory’s milestones –from its founding as a small workshop to its growth into a key player in the knitwear production.
